The Alumni Talent Show
Have you got some talent? Or, can you recommend someone? We are still building our performance schedule for Friday May 7. Jack Zarn, the principal from 1974 to 1983, will welcome the audience. These are the acts we can now confirm:
Acid Rain returns after performing at the 75th Reunion in 1995. The members are: Mark VanderHelm ('82) - vocalist, Derek Wiegand ('82) - drums, Doug Bodrug ('84) - bass, John Mason ('81) - guitar and Daniel VanderHelm, Mark's nephew, on guitar.
The Alumni Choir has been a fixture at the last three Reunions and the tradition continues. Under the leadership of Fred Wieler, accompaniment by Anne Gardiner, this year's choir spans four decades.
Beau Oliver and his PCSS Friends includes Bruno Olivieri ('69) - vocals, Mark McLay ('75) - guitar/vocals, Thom Chesterfield ('81) - drums, Brian Burton ('69) - guitar, Randy Moreland ('80) - bass/vocals and Terry Hamm ('71) - keyboard/vocals.
The Dopes will be re-forming to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The members are Mike Wiegand ('80) - bass, Derek Wiegand ('82) - drums and John Mason ('81) - guitar, with all three providing vocals.
Graphic Warehouse returns after performing at the 75th reunion. The members are: Thom Chesterfield ('81) - drums, Glenn Thurman ('84) - bass and John Badovinac ('84) - guitar, with all three adding the vocals.
Rice Honeywell ('49) returns after performing at the 75th Reunion. He wrote the music for the school song and will offer some boogie-woogie piano.
Shirley Manning ('64) and Linda Buchanan ('63) will make up a duet of violin and piano.
And, there are always a few surprises!
